Paragraph. A few weeks ago, I took a two-day drawing workshop en plein air with Ron Wigglesworth through the Department of Extension. It was an invigorating two days for lots of reasons, not the least of which was that it poured buckets on our first day out. We spent that day at Fort Edmonton Park ducking the rain as best we could, and spent the second day the following weekend at Elk Island National Park. Ron taught us how to handle Pigma Micron fine point pens (.005 to .1) which I haven't used very often and I think I pretty much got over my shyness of drawing outdoors. Ron is a superb artist and an extraordinary teacher. As a result of the workshop, I've been exploring and having a lot of fun with ink drawing. Here are some samples. I've loaded the rest into the Sketches tab on the left. Please have a look!

My name is Yvonne Rezek. This is a blog about what my hands are up to. Mostly sketches and drawings, some of my pottery, maybe even some knitting.
